English is the official language of the meeting.


During the entire meeting, attire will be informal.


Santiago has a mediterranean climate with dry warm summers and mild winters.

Daily highs in May between 21°C and 16°C and daily low temperatures are around 5°C.

Throughout May, the most common forms of precipitation are moderate rain, light rain, and drizzle.​


Visa regulations depend on nationality and country of origin. Please contact your local  Embassy/Consulate for full and official instructions on the specific visa regulations and application procedures that apply to you. It is the responsibility of the participant to obtain a visa if required.​


Official letters of invitation designed to help overcome administrative difficulties in certain countries can be sent to participants by the Secretariat. Should you require an invitation please contact us​.​  

It must be understood that such letters do not represent a commitment on the part of the Organizing Committee or Meeting Organizer to provide any financial assistance. If you require an original letter, it is recommended that you send your request 3 months in advance to account for delivery by post and administrative time. 


The Meeting secretariat and organiz​ers cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants. Participants are advised to take out their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.
